The Weeping of the Diseased pt. II: The Weeping Ocean

The ocean brings so many things
Like darkness painting the clouds unseen
A wind will stir in the east
To take my sorrow out to the trees

And as a ghost weeps for bitter dreams
Of life, of regret so I will cling
To this hope of time this lifeless breeze
This wind and rain, this weeping diseased

My heart is so heavy its not worth the price
The bitterness and sorrow severing me from Christ
Alone with my hate and alone with my thoughts
I cannot find her dream too, in my mind, get lost

And as a ghost weeps for bitter dreams
Of life, of pain, this emptiness will bring
A desperate desire to lie and weep
Death I would welcome though the price may be steep

The waves crash and blanket the shore
Bathing my feet as I stare out onto the moor
The evening rain has fallen still
The weeping of the diseased the caress of the ill

And as the ocean breathes out so cold
A breath of mourning washes over my soul
Waiting to hear her sorrowful song
I blindly walk my dreams prolonged

I'm at the mercy of my harlot mind
Brining pain and fear neither I've come to find
Will bestow upon me rest or peaceful lies
But alone I will blanket her restless cries

I am the weeping diseased

I'm at the mercy of my harlot mind
And because of this, my heart will die
My eyes, from sorrow, wither by and by
I am the weeping diseased, cursed by lies

I am at the mercy of my harlot mind

Dreadful Serenity

Fog sweeps into the morning sky like a kiss from a former mistress
Blocking out all memories of a past lonely night
A shadow has cast from the oncoming light
Alone with my sorrow, alone in darkness

This shadow has taken control of every emotion
As a sea toward an endless ocean
Darkness that is glamorous contagiously bewitching my soul
I know not friend from foe

Adrift in a world that loathe my nature
Happiness cannot be found with such a wager
So cold is this mountain, my heart cannot bare
So cold is the whispers, I hear when you are near

But only when I hear the sorrow in your voice
Will I have to make the choice
Morning rain has come to save the night
Washing out the sound of your flight

This fog has parted from this world of shame
This bewitching darkness is now contained
This mountain of frost lays nourished with change
The sorrow of your voice was cut by my rage
